Senior Sales Executive

About the Role
We are seeking a driven, dynamic, and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join a fast-growing financial technology company specializing in innovative solutions for institutional investors, investment consultants, and asset managers. This role focuses on expanding business in the UK and European regions and offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of an ambitious, forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by promoting and selling advanced software solutions within your designated region, meeting or exceeding assigned quotas.
  • Build and expand the sales pipeline through various lead-generation techniques, including cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, and leveraging personal networks.
  • Identify, manage, and close opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle, from initial contact to negotiation and closure.
  • Establish and grow a network within the Operational and Investment Due Diligence space while engaging with industry bodies and thought leaders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and new products through research and client interactions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of company solutions through training and self-study, enabling you to conduct initial solution demonstrations independently.
  • Provide regular feedback to the product management team on regional needs and potential product enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and regularly report progress to the Head of Sales for EMEA & APAC.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven track record of generating new business and meeting sales targets—hunter mentality required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in Enterprise/SaaS software sales, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with Investment Due Diligence or Manager Selection processes is advantageous.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex solutions, align them with client needs, and communicate their value effectively in various formats.
  • Strong questioning and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Skilled in engaging with C-level clients and building long-term professional relationships.
  • Intellectually curious with a passion for innovation and delivering value to clients.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and integrity-driven professional.
